Erin has been a farmer, a foodie, and a food educator. She took her first job at Concord’s original health food store (the Spice and Grain) more than 30 years ago. She is fluent in food philosophies ranging from macrobiotic to Weston A. Price… AND she knows how to feed a family.
AND – Erin hasn’t decided what she’s going to show us yet! Too many ideas…. Buckwheat? Millet? Wild rice? Purple sticky rice? Rye kernels? Come and be surprised.
Erin will show us how to cook them, and some very easy and basic ways to assemble them into salads, stir-fries, and yes, “pilafs.” Of course we all get to taste what comes off the stove.
