Massachusetts CBD Summit: A Panel Discussion

July 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Panel discussion on CBD. What it is, how to use it, what “full spectrum” really means, and why agriculture matters.

CBD is touted for pain, anxiety, inflammation, sleep and more. And for the most part, it actually works. Sounds good. So, where do we start?

We are absolutely thrilled to be joined live (via internet) by three of our favorite Massachusetts CBD producers, all experts in their fields, for an informative and spirited discussion of CBD – what it is, how to use it, what “full spectrum” really means, and why agriculture matters.

Roughly 40 minutes of discussion will be followed by questions from the audience.

Our panelists are:

  • Alex Brandon founded Ralph’s Garden in Boston in 2016 with one product only – an all-natural topical salve for aches and pains. Four years later, Alex probably has as much real-world experience with CBD topicals as anyone in the state.
  • Nate Spock is the founder and chief formulator at Boston-based Potter Hemp, which specializes in targeted, full-spectrum extracts. Because there’s more to cannabis than just CBD. CBG is also a player, as well as associated compounds called terpenes, which help modify and enhance CBD’s effects for specialized purposes – pain, anxiety, etc.
  • Lincoln Fishman and his partner Hilary Costa have been growing vegetables with draft horses since 2010. They’ve been growing and curing CBD-rich hemp for two years. On the cutting edge of hands-in-the-dirt regenerative agriculture, building soil and capturing carbon is at the heart of everything they do.

Adam Stark from Debra’s will moderate the discussion. Adam has “held down the fort” in Debra’s wellness department for the last 20 years. In 2019 he was a speaker himself on a cannabis/CBD panel at Emerson Hospital.
